Buckeye Butterfly

We call this a "Buckeye Butterfly" because the round spots on the wings look a lot like the native Ohio plant that has beautiful seeds called: "Buckeyes"

    Beautiful butterfly. There have been a lot of changes in my life since I once blogged. Previously Rubbish by Roan. Now I have a new blog - The Crow's Nest. http://bettycrow.blogspot.com/ I'm hoping to blog regularly now. Probably not daily, but possibly weekly. I've missed it.
